How Term2Cal collects, uses, and protects your data

Term2Cal (term2cal.com) is operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data we collect and why.
When you upload a timetable (PDF, JPG, or PNG), the file is sent to our server only to extract its text. It is processed in memory and is not written to a database or file storage — it is discarded as soon as your request finishes.
The calendar events parsed from your file, and any edits you make to them, stay in your browser. We do not send this data to our servers or store it, except briefly while you are completing a payment (see below).
Downloading a calendar file costs $1.99, paid through our payment processor, Creem. Creem collects and processes your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number.
To confirm your payment before releasing the download, we store a minimal order record: a randomly generated order ID, the payment status, and the email address you provide at checkout. We do not link this record to your schedule data or to any account.
Term2Cal does not require an account to convert a schedule. If you choose to create one (for example, to save history in the future), we store your name, email address, and authentication data using our authentication provider, Better Auth, backed by a PostgreSQL database (hosted by Neon).
The site is hosted on Vercel, which may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability, consistent with Vercel's own privacy practices.
You can use the core conversion feature without providing any personal information beyond an email address at checkout. To ask about or delete any data we hold about you (an account or an order record), email us at support@term2cal.com.
Term2Cal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
